Financial Controller

Ravenscroft is looking for a financial controller who prides themselves on accuracy and has an analytical mind set.

Based in our Guernsey office, the financial controller will ensure the accuracy, integrity and timely posting and reporting of the financial books and records of all group entities. They will also be responsible for assisting the Group Financial Controller with the preparation of regulatory returns and financial statements including liaising with auditors as required.

This is a varied role which has involvement with all areas of the group and so the ideal candidate needs to have the ability to communicate at all levels across the group. Applicants should be a qualified account (or close to qualifying) and experience of Sage 50 or Sage 200 and SQL skills would be an advantage.


Data Administrator (Ravenscroft Academy)

Ravenscroft have recently launched the Ravenscroft Academy which provides opportunities in the Investment Services sector for A Level/BTEC students who might not necessarily want to leave the Island for University or College placements.

The programme runs over two years, nearing the end of which, the student will have the opportunity to apply for internal positions as they become available whilst continuing with their study and development. We aim to give a broad spectrum of experience across the back office function with a view to taking the CISI Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) and then moving onto a qualification of their choice at a higher level. This could lead them into differing sectors of the business such as Stockbroking, Investment Management or Corporate Finance.
